Dig Bejeweled? Now You Can Save Your High-Scores and Play Against the Top World Players
Bejeweled is a puzzle game first developed 2001. A sequel to this game, Bejeweled 2, was released by in 2004. More than 25 million copies of Bejeweled have been sold, and the game has been downloaded more than 150 million times.
Initially it was created by PopCap Games as a web-based Flash game called Diamond Mine and since then many variations of the game popped-up online and now a new site called Dig Bejeweled serves few variations of Bejeweled with a new feature – high-scores, and it’s all free of-course.
With a new high-score system, players can now take their skills to the test trying to beat other players all over the world and entering the world-wide hall of fame. It’s exciting being the best bejeweled player in the world, isn’t it?
Bejeweled 2 is also another version of the game and a newer version is 5 minute Bejeweled where you’ve got only 5 minutes to play and you have to make the top score, highly addictive!
It can be said the bejeweled is now entering the top arcade hall of fame and is considered a new type of game where you need to combine 3 identical shapes together.
And for those of you who haven’t played bejeweled before – the objective of the game is to swap one gem with an adjacent gem to form a horizontal or vertical chain of three or more gems. Bonus points are given when more than three identical gems are formed or forms two lines of identical gems in one swap. Gems disappear when chains are formed and gems fall from the top to fill in gaps.
